Closing a ProjectPrince2 projects have a beginning and a middle, and also an end. This process brings the project to a controlled close by - checking that everything's been done - ensuring that the products have been handed over to and approved by the customer - documenting any later actions that need to taken by others, such as maintenance and support groups - setting out a plan for the assessment of the achievement of the benefits described in the business case - compiling a final report on the performance of the project against its Project Initiation Document - finalising the lessons learned report. and finally, requesting that the project be closed down by the Project Board. |
