Change ControlEvery project must have processes in place to manage the inevitable changes which will occur, for example to the scope (often called scope creep). Prince2 change control is based on the collection of project issues and the categorisation of these issues as - Request for Change, causing a change to specification or acceptance criteria, which will be funded usually by the customer - Off-Specification, covering errors or omissions to implementation against a previously agreed product description, the correction of which will usually be funded by the supplier - or none of the above The component deals also with authority levels for change and discusses the use of change budgets.
