Products of the Initiating a Project process During Initiating a Project, the Project Initiation Document is produced. This comprises those products produced during the process, including - the Project Background and Definition, refined from the project Brief produced during Starting Up a Project - the project Organisation Structure - Communication Plan - Project Quality Plan, including plans for Change Control and Configuration Management - Project Controls plan, setting out how the project will be controlled - the initial Business Case - the initial Project Plan - the initial Risk Log All this needs to be approved by the Project Board prior to detailed work starting in the next stage of the project. <<< Back
