Outputs from the Managing Stage Boundaries processThe Project Board needs sufficient information to support a decision to proceed to the next stage of the project. The End Stage Report is the key output here, providing the details of the performance of the stage which is coming to an end, an asessment of the high level project plan situation and an assessment of the future risks and viability of the business case. If the project manager believes the project to be still viable, a request for authorisation to proceed to the next stage is made at this time, and the detailed plan for the next stage is presented to the project board for approval. Note this may in fact be an exception plan. |
