Outputs from the Directing a Project process A stage can't start until it's been approved by the Project Board - this link is the trigger to the project manager to start the stage by authorising Work Packages to get the work underway. Occasionally, the Project Board will provide 'ad-hoc' direction or guidance in response to requests for advice from the Project Manager. In the case of an exception report being raised by the Project Manager, the board may approve the exception report and request that an exception plan be produced. <<< Back
