The PRINCE2 TM Foundation Course This course prepares you for, and includes, the PRINCE2 Foundation Examination. Success in the examination entitles the candidate to attempt the Registered Practitioner Examination Is this for me? If you're a member of a project team, or in any way involved in the administration or support of projects being run with the PRINCE2 method, then this course is for you. Also consider this course if you're a senior manager supervising any PRINCE2 project managers. About the Examination The PRINCE2 Foundation Examination is a one-hour, multiple choice, 75 question paper. It's closed book, so it's a little like a memory test. You'll pass if you get 38 correct answers from the 75. Obviously, we want you to have an enjoyable time on a Project Performance Consulting Course, so we'll start by putting you up in decent hotel (if you've booked a residential course). We don't use hotels which don't have excellent guest facilties such as a gym, memorable food, a decent bar, and if you're on a Bournemouth course you'll be almost on top of  a seven mile beach. That should all take care of the free time! During the day we'll expect you to work hard, sharing your experiences with the trainer and with other delegates, and helping each other get ready for that Wednesday afternoon exam. We'll talk, you'll listen, we'll show, you'll do, and together we'll practice exam questions and case study scenarios. We'll also ask you to do some studying in the evening, but not so much that you can't enjoy your surroundings. On Wednesday afternoon you'll take the Foundation exam and pass it! Pre-Course Preparation Prior to your course, we'll send you a PRINCE2 manual and some pre-course preparation guidance. We suggest you study the manual for at least 10 hours prior to the course to familiarise yourself with the method. In addition, we will give you access to our Online CBT Prince2 Foundation material to help prepare you for your course. Also, well send you our Prince2 Challenge quiz, to help you get up to speed for the Foundation exam, and help make sure you pass this first time. Looking forward to it - how do I book? We'll confirm with you three weeks prior to the course date that the course will run or not. Sometimes we're forced to cancel a course for low numbers - courses with only a few delegates aren't much fun for anyone, so we look for at least four on each course, and we like to set a maximum of 15. When we confirm we'll send you some joining instructions, some pre-course preparation guidance, and a copy of the PRINCE2 official manual. Don't forget to bring it with you to the course!
